Welcome to the
Escarpment PROBUS Club
LET’S ZOOM TOGETHER!
Based on the good results we’ve had with social clubs that are using Zoom and our recent General Meetings, we will hold an online general meeting on Wednesday, November 18 at 9:30 a.m. See the details in this month's Forum.
In order to become familiar with the Zoom program, please check out our Zoom page on this website. All the information you need to use Zoom is there - how to connect using your device, how to turn on your audio and video, and how to see other participants.
Please also refer to the COVID-19 page in the Clubs section, where Jaime Doolittle of Probus Canada explains the insurance implications of not adhering to COVID-19 restrictions for PROBUS events.
PROBUS is a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian organization that provide fellowship, friendship and fun for men and women in their retirement and semi-retirement years. See the Management page for more information.
We meet the third Wednesday of each month at the Conference & Event Centre (formerly Teatro Conference and Event Centre), 121 Chisholm Drive, Milton, Ontario.
We also enjoy various special events (trips, shows, etc.) and have numerous social clubs that meet regularly. All of the details and much more is available in the Forum, our monthly newsmagazine (available online or as a downloadable PDF file), and on this website. Or to see some of the many activities, see our Facebook page.
If you are interested in joining the Escarpment PROBUS Club, click the button below to download the application form (PDF file). Annual membership is $45 per person. Note that our club is currently at full capacity (275 members) so applicants are placed on a waiting list.
Zoom meetings only until further notice
Escarpment PROBUS is saddened to announce the passing of a charter member, Alan Pond, on November 11th. We extend our sympathies to his wife, Carole, and will be donating to the Heart and Stroke fund in his name. Private arrangements have been made by his family. An obituary will be published in next week’s Milton Champion newspaper.
