The Howard Iron Works Museum offers a walk through the history of print. From the 1830s through the 1950s there was an ever-increasing demand for information and the printing press responded. The Howard family have combed the globe to find and rebuild full functioning machines to bring the history of print alive and accessible. We will receive a guided tour, and opportunity to ask questions. We will watch mechanical printing machines create samples "the old fashioned way"! You will also have an opportunity to explore the museum and library at your leisure.

The Howard Iron Works Museum is Not for Profit and donations are encouraged for Light House, an Oakville support for grieving children and families. Cash donations will be accepted at the door and forwarded to Light House.

Following our visit we will head to Mo's Family Restaurant, 467 Speers Rd., for lunch. It's a short, 8 minute drive from the museum.
