Topic: Lighting The Dark With Famous People Players

Diane Dupuy founded Famous PEOPLE Players with the help of an Opportunity for Youth grant launched under Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. More than five decades later, the Toronto-based black-light theatre company remains a force in the arts as well as for social change in Canada.

Diane will tell us how she turned a dream into a black light theatre company. Supported by many people like Paul Newman who once mailed Diane a cheque for US $40,000, Diane has taken her show to Broadway and many other venues.

Diane’s inspiration will remind you of the power of dreaming.
