    East Coast Kitchen Party

    Convenor: Roy MacKay

    Date: April 18,  2026

    Time: 6:00 - 10:30 pm

Location: The Royal  Canadian Legion, 21 Charles St., Milton

A true east coast kitchen party is a legendary get-together rooted in community. Neighbours and friends gather in someone's kitchen, which is often the biggest and warmest room in the house. There is storytelling, some of them might even be true! There is always food and drink, music and dancing. Music is the lifeblood of any kitchen party. It's not unusual for guests to bring their own instruments as parties turn into jam sessions. Fiddles, accordions, and guitars are the staples and before long folks are up for a scuff (dancing) and a scoff (food).

Please join us for our own Kitchen Party!

Live Music with Celtic Duo Band who will take requests for East Coast/Irish songs.

Optional dinner: Corned beef, cabbage, root vegetable and potatoes with blueberry grunt for dessert.

Cash bar available (ATM's available upstairs and downstairs)

If you wish to attend dinner please arrive at 6 pm. Cost for dinner and entertainment $52 per person.

If you wish to attend only the entertainment arrive at 7 pm, cost $20 per person.

NOTE: Dinner is limited to 70 tickets and entertainment only to 24 tickets. We need to sell 70 dinner tickets for the event to proceed at the listed price.

The Story of How Peter became Pan ... Finding Neverland

Based on the Academy Award-winning film, a young widow and her four sons inspire struggling playwright J.M. Barrie to become the writer – and man – he yearns to be. Delighted by the boys’ hilarious escapades, Barrie weaves together real-life events with flights of fancy to create the magical world of Neverland, complete with fairy dust, pirate duels, and a ticking crocodile. It’s a play unlike anything seen before in high-society London, but only with tremendous risk can he truly learn to fly.

Packed with irresistible songs, dazzling choreography, and unforgettable characters, Finding Neverland is a heartwarming reminder that while time pushes us to grow up, the child inside each of us never will. Don’t miss this timeless tale of wonder, courage, and the enduring power of belief.

Cost: $57.00 (No refunds after March 15th)

    Registration opens January 22.
